Evening kiddos. This week, our team have mostly been pet battling, kicking the snot out of rares on the Timeless Isle, and earning more lesser charms than we know what to do with. And, my word has it been glorious. As a quick update to a couple of things that have happened in between recording on Friday night and today: Toman now finally has a level 25 pet; Flapz has main changed again, but finally completed the Fluffy Bunny quest; Hunni decided to delete her bear because it was, and I quote, “too overpowered”, and the official show guild <Harvest Moon> went 7/14 in SoO. Some of those may be fabricated. I’ll let you decide which.

Season 2 Episode 3. – Healers Love Their Ale!

Good evening, podcast listeners! Toman has let me loose on the show notes – this may only happen once so I should make the most of it… Bears are the best; more specifically Hunni is the best… wait, sorry, we’re meant to be talking podcasts. Right!  This week, our usual jolly three selves are joined by our fabulous raid leader, Forsetti. We had a good old chat about some things that (hopefully) are of interest to you, such as:

Well, welcome to Ready Check – the podcast equivalent of a guilty, expensive trip to Aldi. It’s Monday evening in the UK, so that means it’s time to get stuck into some of the burning topics in the WoW community. Season 2 Episode 1. – Interlopers!

Good evening, kind people of the Internet! You may have noticed, by virtue of this post, that Ready Check is back for Season 2! “Hooray”, we hear you say (or not; we don’t judge, man). It’s been too long, as far as this writer is concerned, so it’s very nice to be back on the horse… although I’m told that’s not a nice way to refer to Flapz. Some sad news to start with – tonight, and for the foreseeable future, we’re without Reliq, our favourite overpowered DK. Unfortunately the Real Life boss has crit him for a million damage, so he’s not currently able to host the show with us. We’ll be sure to bully him into featuring on the show every now and again, though. That does, of course, mean we’re looking for another co-host to round out our team. If you’re interested in helping us pull the show together every week, get in touch!

Tonight, we talk about:

  • Item squish in the next expansion.
  • Flexible raiding (woo!).

In our last show, our daring party rolled a natural 20 and evaded the grasp of the mighty tree druid, Melgrim. This week, he continues to be banished, or so they hope. After camping overnight to regenerate their health and relearn their spells, our heroes go dungeon crawling, battle trolls and encounter legendary items… but it’s not all plain sailing. How will our adventurers cope with the pressure of finally gaining their first fans? Will Flapz ever realise he’s pronouncing Toman wrong? How will Reliq reconcile himself with the fact that he’s in purgatory, neither British nor Australian, forever stuck as a Faux-stralian?
