All posts for the month October, 2013

Evening all. I’ve been in a bit of an acid jazz black hole today whilst practicing mage DPS rotations, so if I start randomly spamming keys (syncopated, naturally) during this intro post, you know exactly why. Today, we’re joined by the incomparable Bear, aka John Patricelli from thebigbearbutt.com! You all know him, you all love him, and it was an absolute pleasure to have him on the show. Seriously, my face still aches from laughing so hard, you bastard bear.

Today we discuss:

  • BarCraft-on-Thames (hey, if you can’t plug your own event on your podcast, where can you plug it?)!;
  • Hallow’s End;
  • Flex raiding, scaling and more;
  • A challenge that Hunni might win!;
  • …and much more!

As always, we’d love to hear from you guys. Let us know what you think of the show over at iTunes and Stitcher (links on the sidebar), tell us what you’d like to see on the show, send us your jingles for our features, or just berate us mercilessly. You can get in touch via email, Twitter and Facebook. Until next time, love, kisses, and Pyroblast! misses. Toman.

Morning! Wow, you look great – you must have had loads of sleep, a healthy breakfast and a nice relaxing morning. Good for you. Sorry for the delay with the podcast this week; as you may have noticed, the site was awfully sluggish yesterday so we couldn’t update it. For the technically minded amongst you, our Apache instance was buggered and needed a restart. All sorted now, though! This week, we’re guest-less, so you’re stuck with Flapz, Hunni and I.

On this week’s show:

  • We talk about our BlizzCon community event, BarCraft-on-Thames!
  • The BlizzCon store items have been announced. How much will we be spending (spoiler: ALL THE MONEY)?
  • How are we getting on in SoO?
  • Wing 3 LFR impressions.
  • …And much more!

Join us next week where we’ll be joined by the mighty John Patricelli of BigBearButt fame! In the meantime, we love hearing from you guys. Get in touch on Twitter, Facebook, or via email. Until next time, love, hugs, and squishy, traitorous Klaxxi bugs. Toman.

Evening lovelies! Apologies for the late show tonight; I’m away with work at the moment and, well, forgot to press submit before going out for dinner. I liken this to the time I once put Divine Intervention on our tank with about 3% left to go on Heroic Sindragosa. Pretty sure I’ll never live that one down… Anyway, tonight we’re joined by the Sha of Science, and forum moderator over at Icy-Veins, Stoove! He was gracious enough to join us and talk all things Icy Veins, including some new features coming soon, and why it’s such a good resource for raiders.

Also on the show:

  • The awesome new Hippogryph mount… where’s it from?
  • Hearthstone wipe – how did it affect you?
  • WoW film release date!
  • …and much more.

We hope you enjoy this weeks’ show – it was certainly a lot of fun to make. We’ve got a free slot next week if anyone wants to come and guest on the show – email us at mailbag@readycheck.co.uk if you’re interested. You can also find us on Twitter and Facebook. Until next time: Love, Hugs and Thok Bugs. Toman.
